Admission Process: Your Child's Journey to Edutech Model School
Welcome to Edutech Model School! We are delighted that you are considering our school for your child’s education. Our admission process is designed to be clear, transparent, and supportive, ensuring a smooth transition for both students and families. We encourage you to follow these steps to become a part of our vibrant learning community.
Step 1: Inquiry & Information Gathering
- Online Inquiry: Begin by exploring our school website. You can submit an online inquiry form (available under the ‘Admissions’ section) to receive detailed information about our curriculum, facilities, and academic philosophy.
- Prospectus/Information Pack: Upon inquiry, you may receive our digital prospectus or information pack, providing a comprehensive overview of our school.
- Virtual Tour/School Visit: We highly recommend experiencing our campus firsthand. You can schedule a personal school tour or attend one of our virtual information sessions to get a deeper insight into our learning environment.

Step 2: Registration & Application Submission
- Online Registration: The first formal step is to register your child online through our school’s admission portal. This involves filling out a preliminary registration form.
- Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of INR 250 is payable at the time of online registration. This fee secures your application form and initiation of the admission process.
- Application Form: Once registered, you will gain access to the detailed online admission application form. Please complete all sections accurately and provide all requested information.
Step 3: Eligibility Criteria
- Age Criteria: Admission is granted based on the child’s age as of [mention cutoff date, e.g., March 31st of the admission year]. Please refer to our detailed age criteria chart for each class.
- Previous Academic Record: For admission to Classes , the child’s previous academic record and a Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from the previous school will be required.
- Availability of Seats: Admission is subject to the availability of seats in the respective class.
Step 4: Entrance Test / Assessment (for Class [X] onwards, if applicable)
- Assessment Schedule: For admission to Classes [mention classes, e.g., 1 onwards for basic assessment, or VI/IX/XI onwards for more formal tests], your child may be invited for an age-appropriate assessment or entrance test. The schedule for this will be communicated to you upon successful registration.
- Subjects Covered: The assessment typically covers core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science (for higher classes), evaluating the child’s understanding of concepts from their previous grade level.
- Purpose: This assessment helps us understand your child’s academic readiness and specific learning needs.
Step 5: Interaction / Interview
- Student Interaction: Following the assessment (or as an initial step for younger classes), your child may be invited for an informal interaction with the Head of the Department or the Principal. This interaction helps us understand their personality, communication skills, and general aptitude.
- Parent Interaction: Parents will also have an opportunity to interact with the Principal or a member of the Admissions Committee. This is a chance for us to understand your expectations, and for you to ask any remaining questions about our school’s philosophy and environment.
Step 6: Admission Offer & Notification
- Evaluation: Based on the application, assessment results, and interaction, the Admissions Committee will review each application.
- Notification: Successful candidates will be notified of their admission offer via email or phone within [mention timeframe, e.g., 7-10 working days] of the assessment/interaction.
- Provisional Admission: In some cases, a provisional admission may be offered, subject to submission of pending documents.
Step 7: Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation
- Admission Acceptance: To confirm your child’s admission, you must accept the offer and pay the admission fee and first installment of tuition fees by the stipulated deadline mentioned in the offer letter.
- Payment Methods: Details regarding fee payment methods (online, bank transfer, etc.) will be provided in the admission offer letter.
- Failure to Confirm: Failure to pay the fees by the deadline may result in the offer being withdrawn and the seat being offered to another candidate.
Step 8: Document Submission
Upon confirmation of admission, you will be required to submit the following original documents along with photocopies for verification:
- Birth Certificate of the child (Original for verification + 1 photocopy)
- Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from the previous school (Original, for Class 1 onwards)
- Report Card / Academic Transcripts of the previous class (Photocopy, for Class 1 onwards)
- Aadhaar Card of the child and parents (Photocopies)
- Passport Size Photographs of the child ([Number, e.g., 4 copies])
- Passport Size Photographs of each parent ([Number, e.g., 2 copies each])
- Proof of Residence (e.g., Electricity Bill, Water Bill, Passport)
- Medical Fitness Certificate of the child (as per school format, if provided)
Please note: The school reserves the right to ask for any additional documents deemed necessary.
Step 9: Orientation Program
- Welcome to Edutech Model School: Before the new academic session begins, an orientation program will be conducted for admitted students and their parents.
- Purpose: This session will provide you with essential information about school policies, daily routines, academic calendars, transport facilities, and an opportunity to meet teachers and key staff members.
